AUM Secretary and Treasurer
RJ is our Corporate Secretary and Treasurer, working closely with AUM’s administrative teams, helping solidify our business operations, supporting our fund-raising activities and helping develop our flagship programs.
RJ has 20+ years of experience as an executive and a tech investor, helping cities, industrial organizations and startups address complex technology and business integration challenges. He is Founder/President of Aiota, Inc. a San Francisco -based company that works with deep-tech companies to build out their digital platforms. Roles prior to this included leading the definition and implementation of the IoT and Digital Twin platforms at NEOM (www.neom.com) a $650 billion cognitive city of the future being built on the border of Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Egypt. Prior to this, RJ was at the IoT business unit at Cisco, helping grow this division to a # 1 market position through the development of full stack solutions addressing smart city and industrial use cases (www.managedgareways.com).
RJ holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration in Marketing and Finance from the University of Denver and is a recognized speaker who has presented at numerous industry and strategy conferences. He also volunteers his time helping Africa-based technology startups as well companies focused on economic development of marginalized communities within the Bay Area.
