Coleen Lorenz, MA, BC-DMT, HMCT

Coleen is a Dance/Movement Therapist, Professional Educator, HeartMath Resilience Advantage Trainer, and Reiki Master. She received her bachelor and master degrees from UCLA in the area of clinical psychology with a specialization in dance/movement therapy. Coleen has presented on mind/body wellness at conferences and retreats throughout California, and offers individual and group sessions in "embodied wellness" through her practice called CCMotion. https://www.ccmotion.net

Coleen is founder of AUM non-profit, and Artistic Director of NewGround Theatre Dance Company; providing multi-media storyline messages about unity, inclusivity, and compassion for today's world. Coleen served as Director of the Dance Department and Theater/Dance faculty at Notre Dame de Namur University from 2003-2017. She is currently on faculty at Notre Dame de Namur in the Graduate School of Education, as well as Canada College and Notre Dame High School teaching courses in psychology, dance, creative expression, mindful movement, and meditation.
